Oplus_131072 In today’s world, where love is often measured through words and visible affection, a father’s love quietly stands apart — powerful yet silent, distant yet deeply present.
To me, a father’s love not only takes the shape of silent sacrifices and unseen struggles, but it is also immeasurable. He is not just a superhero – he is a shadow. A quiet guardian who shields his family from different kinds of troubles.
Just like a strong banyan tree, a father stands firm, his roots deep in responsibility, silently protecting everyone under his canopy. In my life, Baba, you are that shadow — the silent love and strength of our little and sweet family.
Because of your transferable job and your busyness, we couldn’t always have you by our side. There were moments you had to be away — times when your presence was missed at the dinner table, during school and college events, or in the small day-to-day moments.
But there is no complaint about that. Because Ammu, with all her love, affection, and strength, managed everything so gracefully that I never really felt the pain of your absence.
Still, I always longed for those little things — the warmth of your affection, your stories, your laughter, and simply, more of you.
Even today, when we are together, it feels special. We always have fun, share joy, and spend quality time with each other. Those moments are truly precious to me.
As an engineer father, you always dreamed that your little daughter would become a doctor. Though I couldn’t fulfill that dream, not even for a moment did you make me feel like I had failed you.
Especially during my admission, when I lost confidence, you supported me with unwavering strength — and that meant the world to me. I am truly blessed for that.
Today, I want to say something I’ve never said before:
“Baba, I may not have fulfilled your exact dreams, but your trust and support have helped me grow. In Sha Allah, one day I will try my best to make you proud in every possible way. Please keep praying for me, and always stay safe and healthy. And remember — no matter how grown-up I become, I will always be your little princess in your kingdom.”
In essence, every day is Father’s Day.
A father is another name for strength, emotion, and unconditional love.
